Where Hip Hop Begins

Small Frye Hip Hop Foundations is a structured introductory Hip Hop program created especially for our youngest dancers. Designed for ages 3–4, this program introduces children to movement, rhythm, and classroom structure in a fun, supportive, and developmentally appropriate environment.

This is where confidence, coordination, and a love for Hip Hop begin.

 AGES & CLASS COMMITMENT

Ages: 3–4

Schedule: 3 Days Per Week

Class Length: 60-Minute Classes

Consistency is a core part of the Small Frye experience. Dancers attend the same three days each week to build routine, familiarity, and confidence.

La Mesa Location

• Monday – 4:00 PM

• Tuesday – 4:00 PM

Class days and times are set to support early childhood structure and learning.

 WHAT SMALL FRYE FOCUSES ON

Small Frye introduces Hip Hop through playful, age-appropriate instruction while building important early skills.

Dancers will experience:

•  Listening & Direction-Following Skills

•  Confidence, Coordination & Self-Expression

Classes balance music, movement, creativity, and gentle discipline in a way that supports early childhood development.

 UNIFORM & PREPARATION

• Official Small Frye Uniform Included with registration

• Uniforms help establish focus, confidence, and class identity

• Prepares dancers for future youth programs at The Origin

 PATHWAY & PROGRESSION

Small Frye is a FOUNDATIONAL PROGRAM designed to prepare young dancers for youth-level classes.

This program:

•  Builds readiness for Youth Hip Hop Classes

•  Supports smooth transition into longer, structured classes

•  Introduces Hip Hop culture in a joyful, positive way

 No auditions

 No competition requirements

 No pressure to advance

Progression is based on age readiness and confidence, not comparison.
